Presage Biosciences has developed a method to evaluate tumor responses to drugs or RNA interference agents without the inherent limitations of systemic administration. The Preage Clinical Surrogate approach allows pharmaceutical companies to halt the development of compounds that show no efficacy within the native tumor microenvironment. Additionally, the Preage Method can use RNA interference to identify drug targets without considering the localization or distribution of systemically administered RNAi therapeutics. The predictive technology can also be utilized to identify effective drug combinations, providing a more direct assessment of their efficacy compared to other methods.
