EpiEndo is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing proprietary drug combinations to address the significant global burden of chronic respiratory diseases. Over a decade of research into the etiology of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) has provided us with unique insights into inflammatory processes, and our new class of oral macrolide NCE candidates shows promise as disease-modifying treatments for COPD. Our lead compound is a non-antibiotic analog of azithromycin that modulates inflammation by reinforcing lung epithelial cells. We are actively exploring other potential applications post-COVID-19 treatment, where the established anti-inflammatory properties of our technology could be valuable.
