Basic Information
Boston Immune Technologies & Therapeutics Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company developing immunology-based approaches. BITT has developed a platform targeting the potent population of TNFR2 tumor genes and TNFR2Tregs in the tumor microenvironment. BITT's proprietary discovery platform, the Dominant Antibody Antagonist Platform (DOMaBTM), is used to develop antagonistic monoclonal antibodies for the TNF superfamily. DOMaB antibodies create unique surface-stabilized antiparallel dimers that alter intracellular signaling. For TNF superfamily proliferation pathways (such as TNFR2, TRAIL, and HVEM), antagonism can lead to cell death. For death receptors (such as CD40, CD27, and OX40), antagonism allows for cell growth. Our technology enables the creation of antibodies that target only rapidly proliferating cells, opening doors for TNF superfamily targets previously considered undruggable or limited by toxicological constraints.
