SmartBreast Corporation is a privately held company headquartered near Pittsburgh, with offices in Los Angeles and Taipei, Taiwan. SmartBreast was founded in 2019 by Dr. Bradley Patt (Chairman of the Board in Los Angeles), Professor Chin Tu Chen (Vice Chairman of the Board in Chicago), and Dr. James Hugg (CEO in Pittsburgh), all of whom have over 30 years of experience in medical imaging. SmartBreast manufactures Molecular Breast Imaging (MBI) scanners marketed under the EVE CLEAR SCAN brand for Dense Breasts™, and SmartBreast™, EVE SCAN™, and EVE owl logo are trademarks of SmartBreast Corporation.
