Chansu Vascular Technologies

Chansu Vascular Technologies is a company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. CVT was founded by Philippe Marco, M.D., with the exclusive purpose of developing peripheral and coronary DCBs using everolimus. Dr. Marco is a veteran with 25 years of experience in medical technology, and his entire career has been focused on the development of cardiovascular devices. He has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Epix Therapeutics (acquired by Medtronic) and President and Chief Operating Officer of CV Ingenuity (acquired by Covidien), where he was responsible for the development of the Stellarex™ DCB. Dr. Marco began working on drug-delivery cardiovascular devices while overseeing medical affairs at Abbott Vascular. After Perclose Inc. was acquired, he led the franchise’s expansion into a diversified portfolio, ranging from closure devices to drug-coated coronary stents, embolic protection devices, and peripheral catheters and stents.
