The company's research team is composed of overseas senior technical personnel led by Dr. Yao Fei. In 2011, a new R&D and production base for Class III implantable medical devices, covering nearly 4,000 square meters and meeting national GMP standards, was established in the Jiangsu Medical Device Park located in the High-Tech Zone Science City. The first commercialized product of Suzhou Hengrui Medical Devices Co., Ltd. is "Polyvinyl Alcohol Embolic Microspheres," which is suitable for embolization interventional therapy for vascular-rich malignant tumors. This product belongs to a high-tech project supported by the state and is classified as a Class III passive implantable medical device in China. It has now been granted an invention patent in China.
