Kinnear Pharmaceuticals, LLC is developing CSA-131, a synthetic compound that mimics natural compounds in the human body to help combat bacterial and fungal infections. This novel drug candidate aims to inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi, break down their biofilms (protective layers formed by bacteria and fungi that make them harder to kill with anti-infective drugs), and ultimately eliminate these organisms.
