Serotiny is a preclinical discovery company that builds better CAR-T cell therapies by engineering novel chimeric antigen receptors (CARs), alternative CARs, and high-throughput accessory proteins.At the heart of Serotiny’s technology is a discovery platform involving the tight interplay of computer-aided protein design, high-throughput cellular assays, and next-generation sequencing, enabling Serotiny to design multi-domain proteins for cell therapies, such as chimeric antigen receptors for CAR-T immunotherapy. Rational protein design for cell therapy requires a different set of constraints and design tools compared to enzyme or antibody engineering.
