AltPep Corporation is a biomedical startup that adopts a groundbreaking approach to diagnosing and treating some of the world's most intractable diseases: amyloid diseases. Our current focus is on central nervous system diseases, particularly Alzheimer's disease (AD). AltPep Corporation aims to neutralize the early toxic oligomers behind these amyloid diseases, which are caused by the aggregation of amyloid-beta peptides (Abeta).
