Medical Microinstruments, Inc. (MMI) was founded near Pisa, Italy in 2015 with the aim of enhancing surgical performance by developing a robotic system to help surgeons achieve better outcomes in microsurgery. The Symani Surgical System incorporates proprietary innovative technologies, including the world's smallest wristed micro-instruments as well as tremor reduction and motion scaling.
