IRISYS, LLC was founded by Dr. Gerald J. Yakatan in 1996 with the aim of establishing a major West Coast contract service organization for pharmaceutical development. IRISYS has evolved from a small laboratory focused on formulation development into an organization offering comprehensive services including drug research and development, cGMP manufacturing for clinical trial materials, commercial drug products, and full regulatory strategic planning services, including pre-IND FDA meeting support.IRISYS provides a full range of contract services for drug development, designed to transition compounds from early-stage research to Phase I/II clinical trials. With years of hands-on experience in all aspects of drug formulation, IRISYS understands the requirements for transferring compounds during the development process.
