Basic Information
LEXEO Therapeutics is a clinical-stage gene therapy company headquartered in New York City, focusing on addressing some of the most devastating genetically defined cardiovascular and central nervous system diseases. LEXEO Therapeutics’ pipeline consists of adeno-associated virus (AAV)-mediated therapies, primarily developed by the Department of Genetic Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. In addition to LEXEO Therapeutics' lead programs — which focus on both rare and non-rare monogenic (single-gene) genetic mutation diseases — the company’s preclinical pipeline covers monogenic disorders as well as genetic and acquired conditions, spanning various patient population sizes and a range of unmet medical needs. Importantly, LEXEO Therapeutics will focus on advancing clinical programs through to commercialization, with the goal of maintaining ongoing research collaboration with the Department of Genetic Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine to help advance the company’s preclinical pipeline.
