Microbial Analysis

Microbial Analysis is a subsidiary of Bioclear Earth, located in Groningen. Our existence is thanks to space exploration. In the 1990s, the European Space Agency (ESA) commissioned our parent company, Bioclear Earth, to design a biological air filter for manned space stations using DNA/RNA technology. In 2014, it was decided to separate Microbial Analysis from its parent company, Bioclear Earth, to further focus on DNA/RNA technology. Over the years, the technology used in space projects and its potential applications have undergone tremendous development. Everything essential about what Microbial Analysis does begins with what is invisible to the naked eye. Our work involves unraveling complex microbial puzzles by making the microbial world visible and comprehensible to our clients. The technology we use allows us to find the necessary pieces of the puzzle. It’s not only related to analytical technology but also to IT solutions for correctly processing analytical data. This is why we developed integrated LIMS software (Maims) to handle data intelligently and efficiently, providing greater insight to our customers. Our clients come from many different fields, such as the gas and oil industry, infrastructure, renewable energy production, food industry, pharmaceutical industry, water treatment, and more. All of our clients share at least one common point: they must deal with an invisible and often complex microbial world.
