Wecare Probiotic is a national high-tech enterprise based on microbiomics, driven by AI for the industrial mining of functional microbial resources, development of core strains, biomanufacturing of strains, and strain applications. It specializes in providing highly active core strains and comprehensive solutions for biofood, bioagriculture, biomedicine, pet probiotics, and daily chemical microbiome fields. The company has strong R&D capabilities and a scientific research background, with professional probiotic research institutes established in Suzhou, Wuhan, and Luohe. It also features engineering technology centers and a CNAS-certified probiotic testing center, an academician workstation, and a national postdoctoral research workstation. Additionally, it has been selected as one of the first biomanufacturing pilot capability construction platforms by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Currently, the company has received several honors, including being recognized as a second-batch national specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative "little giant" enterprise. These facilities are equipped with cGMP-standard purification workshops at ten-thousand-grade and hundred-thousand-grade levels. At this stage, the annual production capacity of core products is complete: 700 tons of probiotic raw material powder for human health foods and dairy products, 5,000 tons of edible-grade compound probiotic formulations, and 1,000 tons of agricultural beneficial microbial raw material powder. Relying on its well-established production capacity layout and intelligent manufacturing strength, the company's overall production scale ranks among the top globally, making it a leading comprehensive industrial base integrating probiotic strain R&D, large-scale production, scenario-based applications, and intelligent manufacturing. Currently, Wecare has obtained production licenses covering probiotic powder, probiotic preparations, health foods, fermented food strains, probiotic fermentation liquids, probiotic derivatives, and microbial feed additives. It has passed multiple international certifications, including cGMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, KOSHER, and HALAL, and its products comply with quality standards from China’s SAMR, the U.S. FDA, and the EU’s EFSA.
