Presbyterian Medical Services provides primary care, dental care, behavioral health, children's education, pharmacy, home health, and senior plan services to underserved communities across the entire southwestern region. Overall, services are offered at approximately 100 locations throughout New Mexico. Our primary care services focus on assisting New Mexicans of all ages. Our dental care includes preventive, restorative, and some rehabilitative services. Our behavioral health and developmental disability programs enhance lives and promote personal fulfillment. Our integrated service model delivers the highest quality of care at every stage of life. Combined with our services for veterans and children’s education, we provide a robust safety net of care for people of all backgrounds, strengthening the fabric of our New Mexican communities. PMS is accredited by The Joint Commission, signifying that it meets the highest performance standards in the industry. Many PMS community health centers have received accreditation from The Joint Commission as Patient-Centered Medical Homes (PCMH). PCMH is an approach to primary care that emphasizes the coordination and communication of care to transform primary care delivery for optimal health outcomes.
