Rebus Biosystems, Inc. is a life science technology company committed to building tools for spatial omics without compromise. The company’s automated omics solutions provide subcellular resolution of biomolecules directly within large tissue sections and across entire tissue slices. The first application developed for this platform focuses on spatial transcriptomics, leveraging the sensitivity, scale, and speed of the company's patented Synthetic Aperture Optics system to perform high-throughput multiplex gene expression analysis at single-cell resolution. The fully integrated spatial omics instrument is set to launch in early 2021. Currently, early access is available through Rebus Biosystems’ Spatial Omics as a Service program, where customers can collaborate with its scientific team to design experimental plans and gene panels, send tissue blocks to Rebus Biosystems’ centralized lab, and after all samples are processed, receive a complete data package. This includes individually processed images for each analyzed gene and a CellxFeature matrix with spatial annotations, which can be used for unbiased clustering, cell type annotation, and downstream precision localization analysis.
