Marizyme, Inc. is a development-stage company focused on commercializing innovative therapies that address urgent unmet needs related to high mortality and costs in the emergency care field. Marizyme completed the acquisition of these assets and intends to promptly develop several candidate products that will address unmet medical needs in emergency care settings.The company was initially established on March 20, 2007, under the name SWAV Enterprises, Ltd. On September 6, 2010, it was renamed GBS Enterprises Incorporated. On March 21, 2018, it was renamed Marizyme, Inc.
