Lipella Pharmaceuticals

Lipella is a biotechnology company in the development stage. The product being developed by Lipella targets intravesical therapy, a method of delivering localized treatment directly into the bladder lumen via a urethral catheter. The indications we are targeting include interstitial cystitis (also known as painful bladder syndrome), overactive bladder, and superficial bladder cancer. Lipella Pharmaceuticals' lead product, LP-10, for the treatment of hemorrhagic cystitis, is currently in the second phase of multicenter clinical trials, and the company’s pipeline asset, LP-310, recently received FDA Type B IND pre-guidance. Lipella maintains a series of additional candidate products, consistent with the company's strategy to develop proprietary 505(b)(2) assets that address highly morbid indications where there is an insufficient therapeutic landscape.
