FASMAC

FASMAC, established in 2001, provides food analysis and biotechnology products and services, including DNA/RNA synthesis products, DNA sequencing services, food testing services, and genetic analysis reagents and kits. In recent years, the development of molecular biology has enabled research such as whole-genome sequencing and subsequent gene function analysis to advance at an astonishing pace. With the progress of these technologies, molecular biology techniques such as nucleotide sequence analysis, real-time PCR, and DNA chips have been widely applied in the field of food analysis. Fasmac has been utilizing these molecular biology technologies to collaborate with relevant agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare to develop standard analytical methods for genetically modified foods and food allergens in Japan. These testing technologies are provided not only in Japan but also in the United States and China. Fasmac has also actively participated in international standardization activities for food testing methods using molecular biology techniques, earning international recognition for its technical capabilities. Additionally, we have collaborated with Eurofins Scientific, one of the largest testing companies globally, to introduce advanced technologies from the Eurofins Group. Going forward, Fasmac will continue to provide world-class new testing technologies.
