CaretakerMedical®, located in Charlottesville, Virginia, was founded in March 2014 to commercialize wireless patient monitoring devices built on its patented Pulse Decomposition Analysis technology.The company has developed the Caretaker wearable wireless vital signs monitoring system, which sets new standards in portability, ease of use, and medical-grade patient monitoring. CareTaker uses a comfortable finger cuff to accurately measure continuous non-invasive blood pressure ("cNIBP"), ECG-accurate heart rate and respiration rate, blood volume (for bleeding detection), arterial stiffness, and other hemodynamic parameters.Clinical trials have confirmed that CareTaker’s measurements are equivalent to those from other cNIBP patient monitors and heart rate measurement methods.
