WEFA, founded in 1972 as a subsidiary of Alusuisse, specialized in the exclusive manufacturing of aluminum extrusion tools following changes in ownership and strategic realignment. These tools are used in the automotive and construction industries as well as in electrical engineering. With the development and subsequent patenting of its own coating process, WEFA successfully established itself as the global market leader in coated tools. In addition to leading aluminum groups, customers include innovative medium-sized stamping shops. Today, the company operates at five locations worldwide with over 250 employees.
