Metagenomi

Metagenomi, Inc. was founded in 2018 by Brian C. Thomas and Jillian Banfield, metagenomics researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, with the goal of transforming the landscape of cell and gene therapies. By using metagenomics technology to unlock four billion years of microbial evolution, Metagenomi rapidly identifies and characterizes novel nucleases with unique gene-editing capabilities. Metagenomi is leveraging this expanded gene-editing toolbox to develop game-changing in vivo and ex vivo therapies.
