HK inno.N began its operations in 1984 as the pharmaceutical division of CJ CheilJedang and was established based on over 30 years of expertise in the pharmaceutical field.In March 2019, HK inno.N launched K-CAB Tab (ingredient name: tegoprazan), a new drug for gastroesophageal reflux, in Korea. Within the first year of its market release, K-CAB Tab not only became the top-performing new drug but was also exported to 22 countries and regions, including China, Thailand, Indonesia, and 17 countries in Central and South America.Through open innovation with biotech companies and universities both domestically and internationally, HK inno.N has accelerated the development of new drugs, increased success rates, and focused its capabilities on securing future innovative technologies.In 2014, HK inno.N formed a business alliance with Pangen to jointly develop protein therapies. In May 2016, HK inno.N signed a joint development contract with Y-BioLogics, a new antibody development company, targeting dual-target antibodies, and has been co-developing immunotherapeutic anticancer drugs, among others.
