AHA is led by experienced and successful leaders in the healthcare industry to capitalize on rapidly evolving opportunities driven by changes in the Medicare payment system. AHA implements patient-centered systems by coordinating physician engagement, patient engagement, and industry best practices, thereby reducing costs within the Medicare program. AHA's ACO and MSO are led by a CEO and physician leaders who have established a network of participating physicians and providers (hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, etc.) to coordinate care for healthcare beneficiaries with the following goals: improving care quality, achieving better health outcomes, and eliminating unnecessary expenditures. At the core of each patient’s care is a primary care physician. Under the current Medicare payment system, CMS contracts with ACOs to coordinate care for all Medicare beneficiaries within the ACO group.
