Bloom Diagnostics, a medical technology startup founded by Angelica Kohlmann and Thomas Kupper in 2018, is currently developing smart diagnostic systems for various medical conditions. The flagship product of Bloom Diagnostics, the Bloom System, aims to impact the healthcare market by making smart testing accessible to everyone. A pinprick blood sample captured by Bloom test strips is deployed into the Bloom Lab, where cloud-based algorithms aggregate test results with other measurable disease indicators as well as medical history, lifestyle, and personal symptoms, providing immediate and fully encrypted feedback through personalized reports on the Bloom App. The entire smart testing process takes approximately ten minutes. The Bloom System also enables consumers to easily collect, track, and share health biomarkers with their doctors.
