Jn Nova Pharma Inc. is a company incorporated in Canada on Friday, July 3, 2020, under the Canada Business Corporations Act.JN Nova Pharma and the NRC team at the Human Health Therapeutics Research Centre are co-developing a platform treatment based on multifunctional fusion proteins to address the complex manifestations of COVID-19. The aim is to both prevent SARS-CoV-2 cellular invasion of these tissues ("viral trap") and mitigate the pathology triggered by the host's response to the virus, including overactivation of the immune system as well as lung and heart failure. Building on previous joint work in the field of brain diseases, this collaboration will also address severe neurological complications of COVID-19.
