OnLume Surgical is a medical device company dedicated to developing innovative imaging technologies aimed at improving surgical precision, optimizing patient outcomes, and reducing morbidity and costs. We have established a new standard for Fluorescence-Guided Surgery (FGS), providing surgeons with enhanced visualization of critical anatomical structures in real time during surgical procedures. Our advanced technology delivers superior image quality even at low concentrations of fluorescent agents. Moreover, it is optimized for surgical workflows, including compatibility with ambient operating room lighting. The OnLume imaging system is compatible with a wide and growing range of targeted fluorescent drugs and can be applied across various surgical specialties. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the OnLume system for fluorescence imaging of blood flow and tissue perfusion before, during, and after vascular, gastrointestinal, organ transplant, plastic, reconstructive, and microsurgical procedures. The use of FDA-approved indocyanine green (ICG) dye in these applications helps visualize vascular patency and identify areas of poor blood flow that may lead to post-surgical complications. Future applications of the OnLume FGS platform include cancer margin imaging and nerve imaging.
