DaAn Gene Co., Ltd. ("DaAn Gene" for short) is a state-owned biopharmaceutical high-tech enterprise that integrates the research and development, production, and sales of clinical diagnostic reagents, instruments, and matching consumables, with molecular diagnostic technology as its core. It was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2004. DaAn Gene is not only the pioneer of nucleic acid testing technology in China but also an important contributor to advancing Chinese nucleic acid testing products to represent cutting-edge international technical standards. The company focuses on the development and application of fluorescent PCR diagnostic reagent products and has undertaken more than 30 key national and provincial-level projects. Its research achievements have won various awards, including the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the National Invention Gold Medal. DaAn Gene is a leader in the molecular diagnostics industry. During the pandemic, the company developed a nucleic acid test kit for the novel coronavirus, which was one of the first batch of kits released in China. Internationally, it was the first to obtain a CE certificate, and the WHO recommended the company’s product on its official website. Its anti-pandemic products have reached more than 140 countries and regions.
