Prota Therapeutics is an Australian biotechnology company dedicated to developing a novel combination probiotic-allergen oral immunotherapy platform for the treatment of food allergies. Its patented technology is based on two decades of research led by Professor Mimi Tang of the Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) in Melbourne, Australia. The company’s lead product is a combination of probiotic peanut oral immunotherapy (PRT100), targeting one of the most severe and potentially life-threatening allergies—peanut allergy.
