Revitope Oncology Inc. is developing a novel approach to cancer immunotherapy. Cancer patients typically exhibit strong cytotoxic immunity against viral pathogens but lack such immunity against their tumors. Revitope’s technology redirects existing viral immune responses to treat cancer. The company’s Antibody Peptide Epitope Complex (APEC) technology selectively delivers an immunodominant viral peptide to tumor cells, activating pre-existing T cells that recognize and kill the tumor as if it were a viral infection.
