Cognita Labs is developing two complementary products for lung health diagnosis and medication adherence. Chronic lung disease affects nearly 10% of the global population due to accelerated urbanization.The first product is CapMedic, the world's first inhaler cap that measures the correctness and consistency of inhaler use, addressing two of the biggest challenges with metered-dose inhalers. The second product is PulmoScan, the world’s first affordable lung diagnostic device based on decades of clinical research. PulmoScan testing takes less than a minute and can be used for young children (under four years old) as well as the elderly.Both products were showcased at several major medical exhibitions in the first half of 2016, are protected by patents, and will soon receive FDA approval.
