Hemovent is a privately-owned medical technology company developing portable ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) devices. Hemovent was co-founded by serial entrepreneur Christof Lenz and Oliver Marseille, the inventor of the company’s proprietary platform. The company aims to develop an innovative solution with precision and excellent craftsmanship to assist patients with lung and heart function issues. Its main product, the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation system, has received CE certification. This system is the world's first ECMO system to integrate the blood pump and membrane lung into one unit.
