Bioxtreme

Bioxtreme's rehabilitation robot system is designed to perform four therapeutic tasks to help patients regain upper limb function. These tasks are formulated based on clinical data collected with the prototype and physical therapy sessions. The system uses 3D virtual reality technology to deliver various games, motivating patients to achieve better rehabilitation outcomes. Each therapy session lasts only 20 minutes and is conducted three times a week, much shorter than traditional therapy sessions that typically last an hour and are repeated daily. However, Bioxtreme’s robotic therapy system enables patients to make rapid progress.
