The company’s therapeutic approach involves developing antibody inhibitors targeting a specific protein disulfide isomerase (PDI), thereby improving the recognition of tumor cells through adaptive immune responses. The overexpression of this PDI can help tumor cells evade detection by the immune system's NK and T cells. Antibodies against PDI will inhibit immune tumor evasion and enhance specific innate and adaptive tumor responses against tumors. These antibodies could potentially be used as standalone therapies or in combination with other known immunotherapies, such as CAR-NK, to stimulate the immune system to recognize and eliminate solid tumors.
