LEADBIO was established in February 2019 in Hangzhou. The company is committed to the research and development of tissue engineering regenerative materials products that can replace and repair human tissues and organs. LEADBIO is currently industrializing "a degradable bio-type artificial blood vessel (SAV) based on scaffold immune encapsulation technology." The successful industrialization of this project will solve the current challenges in the artificial blood vessel market, such as the lack of small-diameter (below 6 millimeters) artificial blood vessels and bio-type artificial blood vessels. It will provide a fully safe and revolutionary artificial blood vessel product for numerous patients who urgently need treatments like fistula creation, replacement, or bypass using artificial blood vessels for hemodialysis, peripheral vascular diseases, heart bypass, organ transplantation, and more, yet have no viable products available.
