Praha Vaccines

Praha Vaccines is a member of the Cyrus Poonawalla Group, which includes the Indian company Serum Institute of India (established in 1966) and the Dutch company Bilthoven Biologicals (acquired in 2012). Since April 2017, Praha Vaccines a.s. has owned its own production facility in Bohumil, near Kostelec nad Cernymi lesy. The existing production equipment is currently being renovated to manufacture inactivated polio vaccines, contributing to the global eradication of the disease. Vaccines from the Cyrus Poonawalla Group protect two-thirds of the world’s children, with the primary goal of ensuring all products are affordably priced while adhering to all quality and safety standards. These vaccines have been certified by the World Health Organization (WHO), headquartered in Geneva, and are used as part of immunization programs in 170 countries worldwide.
