Amivas

Amivas is a joint venture in Australia, Canada, and the United States, dedicated to the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of therapies for treating infectious diseases. Amivas was established to address the urgent need of a U.S.-based company to take over the production and distribution responsibilities of injectable artesunate, following the discontinuation of quinidine gluconate, which had been used to treat severe malaria.
