Metocera's mission is to provide novel regenerative medicine products for heart failure at the lowest price. Through recent research, Metocera has discovered the presence of multiple types of fibroblasts within the same organ, among which a specific group of fibroblasts (VCAM-1-) are particularly suited for the production of functional cardiac tissue and the treatment of heart failure—Ventricular Cardiac Fibroblasts (VCF). Although VCFs are very easy to culture, they have demonstrated the ability to promote the proliferation and migration of cardiomyocytes and facilitate the formation of robust cardiac tissue.
