Boston Dynamics is an engineering company that specializes in creating dynamic robots and simulation software. The company was initially spun off from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) when Marc Raibert, a member of the National Academy of Engineering, and his colleagues first developed robots that could run and move like animals.
