Mabwell is an innovative biopharmaceutical company with a fully integrated industrial chain layout. Since its establishment in 2017, Mabwell has built an innovative system covering the entire drug development cycle, starting from antibody drug target discovery and molecular discovery, and spanning druggability studies, preclinical research, clinical research, and production transformation. This enables a fully integrated industrial chain encompassing R&D, manufacturing, and marketing. Focusing on therapeutic areas such as autoimmune diseases, oncology, metabolic disorders, ophthalmology, and infectious diseases, Mabwell leverages five advanced proprietary technology platforms and R&D innovation capabilities to establish a rich and competitive pipeline. Currently, dozens of candidates are at various stages of development, including one product submission for market approval, eight products in different phases of clinical trials, and two products approved for clinical research. Additionally, Mabwell independently undertakes one national major science and technology project under the “Major New Drug Development” initiative, two key national R&D programs, and multiple provincial and municipal scientific innovation projects. Rooted in innovation and emphasizing industrial transformation, Mabwell’s antibody and recombinant protein drug production base, compliant with GMP requirements in China, the U.S., and Europe, has been put into operation in Taizhou, Jiangsu, while a large-scale industrial base in Shanghai is under construction. The company completed a Series A financing round of 1.97 billion yuan in April 2020 and submitted its IPO application to the STAR Market in December 2020.
