SwanBio Therapeutics is a gene therapy company that advances AAV-based therapies for the treatment of devastating, genetically defined neurological disorders. SBT101 is specifically designed for patients with AMN, an adult degenerative myelopathy caused by mutations in the ABCD1 gene. SwanBio plans to initiate a randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 1/2 clinical trial in the second half of 2022 to evaluate the safety and efficacy of SBT101 in patients with AMN.
