Biomeme

Biomeme is a real-time PCR thermal cycler connected to the iPhone 5s, capable of performing DNA diagnostics and real-time disease monitoring. The system includes a dock for real-time qPCR, a mobile application for controlling the system and analyzing results, and targeted test kits for sample preparation and identification of pathogens or diseases through their specific DNA or RNA characteristics. Using Biomeme, DNA or RNA can be extracted and purified from various sample types, including soil, environmental and industrial water, air and water filters, swabs, food and beverages, arthropods, blood, saliva and sputum, tissues, transport media, or urine. The user-friendly M1 Sample Preparation Kit, along with Biomeme Go-Strips, which are shelf-stable and field-ready, are designed to work with our M1 Sample Preparation Kit and mobile qPCR thermal cycler to deliver gold-standard performance.
