Coala Life is a Swedish medical technology and life science company focusing on cardiac diagnostics and digital health. The company has developed a portfolio of solutions based on Coala, a patented commercial service for remote monitoring and self-screening of heart sounds and ECG. Coala is available directly to consumers, while Coala Pro is provided to healthcare professionals for intelligent digital cardiac assessments. CE and FDA approved. Coala Life began in 2004 as a research project, which doctors and Swedish researchers later transformed. In 2015, Coala Life was established as a company, with its solution replacing the 18th-century analog stethoscope with a digital solution capable of recording heart sounds, ECG, and heart rate.
