Medivation

Medivation is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the rapid development of small molecule drugs to treat serious diseases with limited treatment options. Together with its partner Astellas Pharma Inc. (Astellas), Medivation is developing MDV3100 for late-stage prostate cancer across multiple phases. As of December 31, 2011, it had completed Phase III trials in the latest stage. The company’s three subsidiaries include Medivation Prostate Therapeutics, Inc. (MPT), Medivation Neurology, Inc. (MNI), and Medivation Technologies, Inc. (MTI). MPT holds the company's MDV300 series technology, which is under development for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer, while MTI owns its early-stage technologies.
