Its two products, CerOx™ and c-FLOW™, are based on the patented UTLightT™ technology and can be used in most areas requiring CBF monitoring. Ornim Medical provides physicians with state-of-the-art monitoring tools to help guide safe and decisive patient care when life-threatening tissue perfusion occurs. Ornim’s CerOx™ monitor is the only device capable of simultaneously performing non-invasive blood flow and oxygen saturation measurements, while the recently FDA-approved c-FLOW™ is a streamlined version used solely for measuring CBF itself. Using these two products (depending on clinical circumstances) is key to understanding perfusion, aiding direct treatment, and reducing patient care costs. Ornim Medical's patented UTLight™ technology combines light and ultrasound techniques to non-invasively measure regional oxygen saturation and blood flow. The UTLight™ technology is unique among all other commercially available NIRS technologies because it can also analyze speckle signals, rather than relying solely on the intensity of light reaching the detector.
