Torq Labs

The founders of Torq Labs are athletes who are enhancing the human experience of movement from sensation to comprehension. The first product by Torq Labs is what they call the Torq Smart Leggings. Torq Labs has specifically designed these leggings, which secure four sensors in place to collect motion data of the lower body for their customers. These five synchronized sensors transmit their data via Bluetooth to the customer's mobile phone, and from there, the data is added to a data warehouse/lake on AWS cloud servers for analysis across Torq Labs' entire customer base. The results for the customer are then returned as easy-to-understand/consume metrics on their mobile or web dashboard. Torq Labs' initial target market includes triathletes, runners, and cyclists.
