General Motors

General Motors, an American automobile manufacturing company headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, operates manufacturing plants across 30 states in the U.S. and in 32 countries worldwide. Its portfolio includes brands such as Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Holden, and Jieyou. Among these, the Chevrolet and GMC divisions manufacture trucks and passenger cars, while other brands like ACDelco have spun off into Delphi Automotive Parts. In 1997, its subsidiary Hughes Aircraft Company was sold to Raytheon, among other transactions.
