A six-month retrospective study showed that the software can improve response times to various intraoperative conditions such as hyperglycemia and hypotension. Each system is suitable for large hospitals, long-term care facilities, or research-oriented hospital settings. AlertWatch software integrates with other hospital systems, such as AIMS or FlowSheet. AlertWatch: OR is used by clinicians for secondary monitoring of patients in the operating room. AlertWatch achieves this by aggregating data from connected physiological monitors, anesthesia information management systems, and patient records, displaying it in a central location. Once an alert is triggered, clinicians must refer to the primary monitoring equipment before making clinical decisions.
