Basic Information

Akamis Bio is a clinical-stage oncology company with the mission of positively impacting the lives of cancer patients by leveraging its groundbreaking tumor-specific immune gene therapy (T-SIGn®) platform. To achieve this, the company is developing a range of T-SIGn® therapies targeting solid tumors, designed to enable patients' own immune systems to recognize, attack, and eliminate cancer. Akamis Bio has a growing pipeline of T-SIGn® treatments, including two clinical-stage programs: NG-350A (an immunostimulatory tumor gene therapy that drives intratumoral expression of a CD40 agonist monoclonal antibody) and NG-641 (a stroma-targeted tumor gene therapy utilizing a viral vector encoding a FAP-CD3 bispecific antibody, CXCL-9, CXCL-10, and interferon alpha). Both NG-350A and NG-641 are currently in Phase I clinical studies for patients with metastatic or advanced epithelial tumors. In addition to internal pipeline development efforts, Akamis Bio has established a series of collaborations focused on the T-SIGn® platform with leaders in the field of immuno-oncology, including BMS, Merck, and the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy (PICI).
