Cardiovalve is a medical device company dedicated to developing a trans-femoral mitral valve replacement system. The flagship heart valve system is the first designed to replace the mitral valve using a trans-femoral system. It is built from the ground up to access via the femoral vein through a trans-femoral/trans-septal approach.The Cardiovalve approach offers significant advantages, including a short profile, minimal protrusion into the left ventricle, minimized disruption of blood flow within the heart, and enhanced safety. Currently, the company is evaluating the safety and performance of its system in clinical studies and will seek approvals in the European Union and the United States.
